چکیده

Urban water distribution networks are crucial infrastructures for providing essential services to society, but their exorbitant costs and limited resources make optimization a critical research area. Optimal management design of these can help reduce enhance efficiency while meeting technical, economic, quality standards. In particular, the network pressure is reducing leakage in systems. Thus, this study aimed investigate two objective functions optimizing network: (i) minimizing considering number pressure-relief valves, (ii) by observing optimal range. To achieve this, Nondominated Sorting Differential Evolution (NSDE) multi-objective metaheuristic algorithm was employed as tool, computer program written MATLAB software solving models. EPANET also used hydraulic simulation network. The capabilities models were tested on case third district Mashhad Iran. results indicated that installation adjustment valves accordance with positions settings output proposed significantly improved desired goals, particularly average As an example optimization, achieved 56.12% reduction compared without plan, five valves.
